Everest View Short Trek starts from the joyous flight to the world’s extreme airport Tenzing Hillary Airport in Lukla. Passing by the small town of Phakding the trail enters into the alpine forest belt along the Dudhkoshi River. Featured in famous Everest movie the high bridge below Namche Bazaar and marvelous Sherpa town will take away your hardship and pain endured during walking. Once you move ahead from Namche the view of Amadablam, Mt. Everest, Tabuche, Lhotse, Nuptse and Cholatse will ignite the Himalayan wilderness. The beautiful forests trail will lead you to spiritual monastery camp site of Tengboche. The trip heads to Dingboche passing by the Pangboche valley and rest one more day there for the acclimatization. Once you are in Everest Base Camp you will be able to write your own name on the trail trekked by the famous Everest climbers like Sir Edmund Hillary, Tenzing Norgay and Scott Fischer. The hiking of the Kalapathar (5545 m) offers breathtaking sunrise view on the Himalayas of Khumbu region. Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1300meters).

Day 02: UNESCO world heritage site sightseeing.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5.30 hours.

Day 05: Hike to Everest View Hotel and Back to Namche Bazaar (3860 meters) 5. hours.

Day 06: Trek to Lukla (2804 meters) 6-7 hours.

Day 07: Morning flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 08: Fly Back to Home

Physical Conditions and Experience Requirements

8 days of Everest view short  Trekking is considered as moderate. If you jog or perform morning walks regularly then it would not be any problem for you to walk on the trail. However, it is highly recommended that you should start doing mild exercises one month prior to your trekking date. This would help in creating best Himalayan walking holiday experience. Having said that, it should be noted Technical Skill are not needed. The major hurdle is an altitude. Therefore, person having past medical history of lung, heart and blood diseases are extremely advised to consult your doctor before embarking on this journey.

Carry your important medicine:

Medicine is very important if you have any disease you must carry the medicine with you. I mean “prevention is better than care” mountain region we can’t find any health care, clinic, and hospital if there is clinic you may not get according to your problem medicine. So; I humble request please prepare if you are continually taking the any medicine please. It is very important but our company will provide something first aid kid bag normally as headache, fever, stomach problem as diarrhea, cough & cool some bandage, tape & Diamox for high altitude sickness in High Mountain

We  try to depart on the scheduled itinerary, we cannot promise to guarantee fixed departure only in case of flight cancellation, delays. we request you to plan out extra few days in case the weather does not stay in our favor.  Since your safety is our uttermost priority, we also request you to follow your team leaders and your guides’ since they are trained and experienced in this particular area. We can arrange to occupy your day with adventures and exploration activities to utilize the day.

Weather condition in the Himalayas is also subject to change which can be an obstruction during your travels. Since obstacles are unpredictable, Nepal Adventure pilgrimage Treks & Expedition facilitates our customers to arrange helicopter service if needed (at extra cost). We can arrange helicopter service during the time of flight delays/ cancellation and during personal preferences.  Since helicopters can fly in arduous circumstances compared to airplanes.

Clothing 

  • Lightweight walking boots. If new one is being bought, “walk then in” to avoid blisters. Also bring spare laces.
  • A rainproof jacket with hood or a poncho. Get the one that is guaranteed waterproof.
  • Woolen shirts and thick sweaters. During winter months, December through February these items are essential. Thick sweaters can be purchased in Kathmandu.
  • A pair of lightweight/ heavy weight trousers. Jeans are unsuitable to wear on treks. Cheap loose cotton pants are available in Kathmandu.
  • Heavyweight trousers are useful higher up in the mountains in the morning and at night. Windproof/ waterproof trousers are necessary on all treks going above 10.00ft.
  • Thermal underwear. These are excellent to sleep in at night in the winter months thermal underwear are quite invaluable.
  • A pair of track shoes. To wear in the camp at night or when the boot is wet.
  • Warm jacket. Fiber fills or down should be adequate. This is especially necessary during winter from December to February.
  • A tracksuit useful for wearing in camp and in the tent.
  • 2 pair of loose fitting long shorts/ skirts.
  • 1 lightweight long sleeved –shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sun burn.
  • A woolen hat to wear in the morning and at night. During winter it is an essential item. A sunhat and ensure it has a wide brim to cover the face and neck.
  • A pair of gloves. Leather with lining and woolen are best.
  • 1 pair of sandals to wear in the cities and in camp.
  • 2 pairs of thin and 2 pair of thick woolen socks.
  • Underwear” normal quantity and swimming costume, hankies.

  • Daypack: This is a small rucksack to carry personal requirement for the day e.g. toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc.
  • Water bottle.
  • Snow glasses and sunglasses
  • 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones. 6-10 smaller plastic bags to dispose garbage.
  • Wallet and /or money belt with compartment for coins.
  • Toiletries with large and small towels. Toilet paper can be by in Kathmandu and some villages in the mountains.
  • Small headlamp and/ or torch with spare batteries and bulbs candles and lighter to burn toilet paper.
  • Snow gaiters essential during wither and all treks going over at other times.
  • An umbrella (optional), which is quite useful to as a sunshade and useful when it rains.
  • Reading materials, camera and film, game items (optional), note book, rubber band, pen and pencil, envelopes, a diary, a calendar, a pocket knife, binoculars (optional), a small pillow or headrest (optional). Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu airport (1345 meters).

Up on arrival at airport we will welcome you and transfer to you hotel.Evening welcome dinner with Nepali cultural dance show.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2
UNESCO world heritage site sightseeing.

After a hearty breakfast, at 8.30 am your sightseeing trip will start. You will have a private vehicle and a professional tour guide.Am:Boudanath and Pashupatinath. Pm: Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Soyambhunath. Evening buy stuff for trekking and relaxing.Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3
Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours.

Wake up morning then heading to Airport for the 35 minute scenic flight to Tenzing and Hillary Airport at Lukla at 2804meters. After landing we have time to explore the village while our Sherpa crew sorts and loads our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Koshi River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m). The walking is easy and after passing through the small village of Ghat (2550m) it is a short walk to Phakding. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 4
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 5.30 hours.

We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Koshi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags. After entering Sagamartha National Park, the trail climbs steeply with breathtaking views. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest is home to many quality restaurants, hotels, lodges, shops, money exchanges, internet cafes and bakeries. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 5
Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day.

Relaxing day in Namche Bazaar.We will spend a day here in order to acclimatize and adjust to the thinning of the air, as well as a short trek where a museum is celebrating the traditional customs of the Sherpa people. Today we hike up the Syangboche Airport around Everest View Hotel. From this point, we can see rewarding views of the Himalayas with stunning sunrise and sunset over the panorama of Khumbu peaks. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 6
Trek to Lukla (2804 meters) 6 hours.

Having breakfast then heading to Lukla where the trek began, which will seem like a lifetime ago; enjoying time to reflect on the trek as a group and the personal achievement of all those who took part and also giving you time to explore the town. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 7
Morning flight back to Kathmandu.

Enjoying your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited for one last time on the 35 minute scenic flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer you hotel. Relaxing and buy souvenir. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 8
farewell friend

The journey within the mountains of Nepal comes to an end today!We will transfer you airport as per your flight time.
