The Mardi Himal Trek is a beautiful and challenging trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Accommodation and meals during the trek can vary depending on the type of trekking package you choose and the route you take.
Generally, there are teahouses or lodges available along the trekking route where you can stay and eat. These teahouses offer basic accommodation with shared rooms and bathrooms. The meals provided are usually traditional Nepalese dishes like dal bhat (rice, lentils, and vegetables), noodles, soup, and fried rice. You can also find some western dishes like pizza, pasta, and sandwiches in some teahouses.
If you choose a package with a trekking company, they may provide you with better accommodations in lodges with private rooms and attached bathrooms. They may also provide you with meals, either at the lodges or by hiring a private cook.
It is important to note that the higher you trek, the more basic the accommodation and meals become. So, be prepared to rough it out if you plan to go further up the mountain.

We had planned for this trip since 3 years ago before Covid-19 and the trip had been postponed until this May 2023. Finally we had made it. Even we've already paid for the deposit, Anil still kept following up from time to time throughout these 3 years and quite flexible for all activities we needed. Helicopter trip, Paragliding and so on. However, after other groups have problems with altitude and Covid-19, he's on the phones all the time and lost some focus with us. But it's understandable. He's trying his best effort for every group. Two porters who came with us're nice and had great service mind as well. Also the city tour guide, Mr. Dhruba Dahal, was very nice and took good care of us until the last minute.
