Manaslu Region Trek

The Manaslu Region Trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal, located in the northern part of the country. The trek takes you through the Manaslu Conservation Area, which is home to diverse flora and fauna, including snow leopards, red pandas, and musk deer.

The trek typically starts in the town of Soti Khola and follows the Budhi Gandaki River, passing through traditional villages, terraced fields, and dense forests. The route also involves crossing several suspension bridges and traversing narrow mountain trails.

One of the highlights of the trek is reaching the Larkya La Pass, which stands at an altitude of 5,160 meters and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including Manaslu, the eighth highest mountain in the world.

The trek usually takes around 14-16 days to complete and requires a moderate to high level of physical fitness. It's important to note that a special trekking permit and a licensed guide are required to undertake this trek.
